Lance D. Ogata, DDS

Dr. Lance Ogata graduated with a B.S. Biological Sciences degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of the Pacific Dental School, San Francisco, California in 1988. Dr. Ogata is a member of the American Dental Association, Hawaii Dental Association, Maui County Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Seattle Institute of Advanced Dental Education.

Dr. Ogata was born in Southern California and raised in the suburb of Monterey Park where he played in baseball and basketball leagues until he went to college at USC. Prior to attending dental school, Dr. Ogata became the first male dental assistant for the dental offices of Nagamatsu and Kurumada in Los Angeles.

An avid golfer, Dr. Ogata relocated to Maui in 1995, in search of the perfect combination of work and play. He found the work, but still yearns for more play! While his private practice keeps him busy, he also pursues his other interests in cooking, yoga and world travel. His travels have carried him to such far away places as Japan, Okinawa, Philippines, Russia, Latvia, Brazil and Costa Rica.
